Following Jesus,
Together
A small community gathering every Sunday to remember Christ, encourage one another, and find our way forward.
You’re welcome here.
We’re the Portland Christadelphians — brothers and sisters in Christ, which is actually what the word Christadelphian means. We’re ordinary people drawn together by one extraordinary conviction: that Jesus rose from the dead, and that this changes everything.
We don’t have it all figured out. But we’re trying to follow him — in how we treat each other, how we live, and how we hold onto hope.
We gather
Every Sunday we share bread and wine together — remembering Jesus, his life, and his sacrifice. It’s the heart of who we are.
We learn
We read scripture together and wrestle with what it means to follow Jesus in ordinary life. Questions are welcome.
We belong
Whatever you’re carrying, there’s a seat at the table. No performance required — just come as you are.
Who are we?
We’re part of a worldwide family of Christians meeting together since the 1860s. Our name comes from the Greek — Christos (Christ) and adelphos (brother/sister).
We hold to the faith of the early church: one God, Jesus as his son and our saviour, baptism, and the hope of his return. But more than a set of beliefs, we’re a community. We share meals, support each other through hard times, and try to take Jesus seriously — not just on Sundays.
Come and see.
Everyone is welcome. You don’t need to know anyone, and you don’t need to have anything sorted out spiritually. Just show up.
